Bret Enemark

My name is Bret (she/her). I come from a white settler background and I grew up on the west coast (Lekwungen Territory) where I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Women and Gender Studies at the University of Victoria. I relocated to Toronto to attend midwifery school and am honoured and humbled to join the team of spectacular staff at Seventh Generation Midwives.

I approach my work from a framework of reproductive and restorative justice. I believe that supportive and evidence-based reproductive healthcare has the power to change lives. My goal is for all clients to feel understood, empowered, and safe. I take special joy in working with LGBTQ2S+ clients and their families.

Outside of the clinic and hospital, you can find me taking polar dips in Lake Ontario, knitting garments for my loved ones, and attempting to win the affection of every cat in the neighbourhood.
