Hello! My name is Kate Macdonald (she/her). I am honoured to be here at SGMT, where I have been working as a Registered Midwife since 2019. I am a descendent of Irish and Scottish settlers and grew up in Hamilton in a large family.

Prior to midwifery, I worked in child development and family support. I have always had a passion for birth and reproductive rights, and my own experiences with midwifery led me to this career. It is a true privilege to work with this incredible team and with all the growing families that come into our care.

When I'm not catching babies I can be found camping, climbing, and exploring the city with my kids.
