Tamara Sanchez

Hello!

My name is Tamara Sanchez, and I am honoured to be joining Seventh Generation Midwives as a Registered Midwife!

A bit about me...

I am a mother to 4 wonderful humans, ages 20-27, and most recently a grandmother! I was born, raised and currently live in downtown Toronto.
I have studied at York University in the areas of Political Science and English and completed the Midwifery Education Program at Toronto Metropolitan University.

I am a first generation Canadian, the daughter of refugees from Chile/Wallmapu with both Spanish and Mapuche ancestry.

I have 10+ years of work and volunteer experience in the areas of Community Development and Food Security, and have worked directly with pregnant people, new parents, seniors, youth and children offering a variety of frontline programing.
My most recent work has been with the Toronto Birth Centre, where I have spent the last 10 years working as a Birth Centre Aide.

I look forward to being part of the team of Midwives at Seventh Generation Midwives and I thank you in advance for considering me in your care!
